Ofgem’s latest report shows how large energy utilities are taking advantage of UK consumers.
The large energy utilities in the UK rely on people’s inertia and a lack of transparency in the information they provide their customers.
If transparent market information (such as in the table below) was included with people’s energy bills, there would be much greater switching to lower tariffs and market forces would force the companies to offer competitive prices across the board.
